I nearly got my P75 wasted since I was planning to watch Prom Night in a movie house. I thought it’s a cool movie that it’ll make me shout with excitement and be thrilled all the way. I downloaded this movie through torrent since my friend Lester went here at home and we were quite bored so we planned on watching some movies. We watched the movie together right after downloading it then it started. It was okay from the start but then as the movie keeps on rolling, it was like “What? Will there be more interesting scenes to be seen here?” A teacher who’s obsessed with his student and became her stalker then became a serial killer with his invulnerable knife or was it a dagger? Anyhow, the way he kills the people there, it was really boring, stabbing the person many times without blood stains, how cool huh? LOL. I guess “I know what you did last summer” is better than this movie. It’s really disappointing to watch this, well, depends on your taste. Just have fun watching this silly crap. No offense for those who liked it.

A 22-year old Canadian model who is especially known as the celebrity look-alike impersonator of Paris Hilton named Natalie Reid. The first time I saw her was on YouTube from one of the episodes of “The Next Best Thing”. A friend of mine actually gave me a link of it from YouTube then watched it. Of all participants who joined the show, Natalie Reid’s performance could actually blow me away. She’s a total comic! Though she doesn’t really look exactly like Paris, she acts like one but in a funny way. Unfortunately, Natalie didn’t make it to finals in “The Next Best Thing” show but there are a lot of opportunities just waiting to be grabbed by her.

Last night’s performances was really great. Almost everyone did a spectacular performance. Song choice was perfect too, I could say that they were all doin’ a good job. Though some of the contestants’ performance were rated by Simon that their last week’s performance was a lot better than last night, which was referred to David Archuleta, David Hernandez, Chikezie and I can’t remember who else it was.

For me, those 3 performers really had a blast of impressive performances last night and I congratulate them for that esp. Chikezie where Simon bluntly told him that he didn’t like his performance. David Archuleta had a good song choice too but Simon was quite disappointed since he’s been singing a sad song since and then he wanted to hear him sing a lively song. I know they will really make it to the top. They’re all talented and I just can’t wait for the next episode.

This movie is quite similar to the Korean movie: Jenny Juno. It’s a story about a high school girl got pregnant which her boyfriend, also a high school student, makes him the baby’s dad. The girl confessed to her boyfriend about her being pregnant and the boy was shocked upon hearing it from her. It is a very big responsibility for the both of them to raise the baby. The boy (Kim Hye-seong) spacing out the entire days finally decided to help the girl raise the baby. And they’re stepping their one foot forward for a journey that has a lot of responsibilities to be done.

Juno is somewhat the same with Jenny Juno.  Juno (Ellen Page), a teenager who got accidentally pregnant because of her curiosity towards sex. She has done it with her naïve best friend, which made her parents not to bully him since they knew it wasn’t his idea to do it. Juno decided to let her baby be adopted by a good, responsible family who could let her baby live a good life which made them decide to give her baby to Mark and Vanessa (Jenifer Garner). She came over to their house to talk about the deal and then finally both parties approved with it and the real story starts here. She really needs to face all the trials that she might have for keeping the baby until the delivery of birth, but her friend, best friend and her family are all there to support her. It’s really a nice movie where a lot of values can be learned from it such as from wise decision making to facing and handling responsibilities, from exploring things because of curiosity to experiencing it and taking the risks and a lot more.

I recently got hooked with this TV show which is Heroes. It really gave me this urge to really download the entire 2 seasons. Every episode amazed me and it just kept me thrilled so I just couldn’t help myself not to continually watch it. I personally love emoticon Peter who could absorb powers from others and also Claire who could heal/revive herself or should I say she’s invulnerable. I was hoping that they could be the love team from that series but I was really disappointed because it turned out that Peter’s brother is the biological father of Claire which makes Peter her uncle. But anyway, I also love Hiro and Ando’s partnership since I could see what real friendship means through them. I also love the rest of them excluding Sylar. I hate him cause he’s a murderer who got drowned from greediness for power. I am ready for my Heroes season 2 series marathon and though I have been spoiled from my classmates and also from the #1 SPOILER from our school named Jopal Dumanig (lol), it still doesn’t bother me cause I know I’d still be dumbfounded with its spectacular episodes. Can’t wait to watch the 2nd season! emoticon

Through this job, she will be able to cover her tuition for the semester. She aims to take Ji-hoon on the palm of her hands since he’s too bossy and rude. Ji-hoon doesn’t like studying and that he lives only for pleasure which is the most valuable thing on his life is only his credit cards. Ji-hoon waits for Su-wan to quit her job as his tutor since he doesn’t want to quit first but the strong and tacky Su-wan doesn’t know how to quit once she already started it. I thought I could enjoy watching this tv show from ABS-CBN but boy can’t help but to critic their casts. Although that series was revised, I can’t help but to compare it to the Princess Sarah (japanese anime version) which Sarah Crew is gentle, demure and smart. I’m not saying that Sarah Crew from the "teleserye" on abs-cbn doesn’t have any smart characteristic there, its just that she’s supposed to be not that energetic and that very jolly or "kulit". Well compared to the anime version, she’s very gentle and looks very frail but has a very friendly aura. Plus, their character Lavina doesn’t suit for that role too. She’s smaller than Sarah + she looks a lot more younger than Sarah. And the being the "kontrabida" from that show, she just doesn’t look like one. Miss Minchin (whatever the spelling is) is a bit younger and her sister Amilia (or was it Emily? not that sure) was suppose to be gentle and fears Miss Minchin too. But it seems like they’re a bit close to each other.

I just dont seem to like the casts at much since they just don’t have that "spark" that will really imitate the characteristics of the series. Its not that I despise their show its just that the Princess Sarah movie (Philippine version) has a better casts compared with their "teleserye".

But I’m not saying its a bad show though. emoticon I mean, they’re just revising it or something, not really imitating the anime version itself, ne? So I wont be discouraged that much. Maybe it has a good story anyway.

We had an overnight at our friend’s house last sunday. We planned to have a group study there. After studying, we had nothing else to do so we tried to watch any movies/series that Jasi have. They picked F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Though I have already finished watching that series, it was a great idea to watch it again since its my ultimate favorite comedy show. Plus, no matter how many times I watch it over and over again, still I laugh my ass out of it. The jokes are so good and the actors or actresses are excellent on how they deliver their lines. Just so hillarious!

I kinda miss that show. Too bad it had to end.. hope that there’ll be another season comming soon. I just don’t want that show to end. :( But even if theres really going to be a new season still I can’t watch it. A poor destitute like me can’t afford to inquire for a cable connection again. *sigh*
